mission of Camp Virginia Jaycee, Inc is to provide an outdoor education and recreation
experience for persons with special needs. Camp
Virginia Jaycee is a facility where children and adults with special needs can
participate in games, partake in new experiences, learn to appreciate the outdoors
and have fun. |
The following dates are now available
at this time:
Goals To
contribute to the mental and physical well-being and development of children and
adults with special needs through an organized program.
To provide activities
which develop a feeling of self confidence through accomplishments and foster
a feeling of self worth.
To promote the development of interpersonal
relationships and social skills which will help children and adults adjust to
a world outside their immediate family. To
provide the opportunity for respite to family members.
